Gifts for New Baby

I have found one of the best presents for a baby shower are gift baskets for new baby. I had my first child last year, I was fortunate to receive many gifts, however a lot of people bought me the same things. There were only so many newborn outfits and toys that my daughter, Hannah actually never used many of them. I ended up giving away a lot to charity.

Now when I am buying gifts for others I really like to put a bit of thought into what I give. Gift baskets for new baby are fantastic. They can be practical or whimsical, whatever you prefer. Gift baskets always look great, whether you buy them from a store or do it yourself.

Disposable nappies, small bottles, jars of baby food and bibs will never go astray. Other good ideas include baby wipes, booties and small toys. Decorated with some nice ribbon or cellophane, these gift baskets for new baby look good and are practical.

Basket Just For Baby

Why not fill a basket with gifts just for the baby to enjoy. You could include an outfit, a toy as well as a few basics like booties and bibs. Choose a colour scheme to make these gift baskets for new baby really stand out. Mint green and pale blue themes baskets look great.

Sometimes gift baskets for new baby can treat the whole family. One of the most memorable gifts I received after giving birth to my daughter was a gift basket filled with food. Inside were chocolates, crackers, jams and even a cake. At the time I thought it was strange, but once we were home from hospitable I realized it was a blessing. I didn’t have to worry about food shopping or cooking, the lovely gift basket had taken care of it for me.

A Mixed Basket

Not sure what kind of gift baskets for new baby to look for? Why not purchase a basket with a whole mix of things. Some toys and clothes along with basics like disposable nappies. Maybe a treat for the new parents, like a box of chocolates and bottle of champagne all put together in a beautiful basket.
