Gifts for New Baby

To find perfect twin baby gifts I searched high and wide. The arrival of twins is always exciting, when my brother and his wife announced they were expecting two babies instead of one I couldn’t have been more thrilled. I knew I had to find them the perfect gift for their two new little boys, Harry and Frank.

The first thing to keep in mind when looking for twin baby gifts is that the new parents are going to need a lot of stuff. Buying basics for twins will be a much appreciated gift. Things like diaper cakes and gift baskets are a great idea. Fill them up with everything the new parents will need. Jumpsuits, bibs, diapers and baby food are all good ideas.

My brother and sister-in-law got very lucky with their baby basics. The local paper ran a story about the boys and some baby shops in the area sent them a heap of twin baby gifts for free. While it was a lovely boon for them, it left me at odds at what to purchase for them.

My two children are now at school, so I offered to baby-sit whenever they needed me. I know from experience when you have a newborn, the offer of a sitter for a few hours can be a great blessing. Being able to wash my hair alone or get the grocery shopping done was a luxury to me when my kids were little.

You could offer to help clean the house, or even pay for a cleaner. If you feel comfortable with children take them out for a walk to give the parents time together. I filled in the front few pages myself. I included pictures of the boys, their birth weight and time and even a picture of their parents wedding day.

I gave my twin baby gifts to the new parents. I explained that as they boys got older they could put in more photos and fill the book with their own memories. I had finally found a gift that would be treasured now and in the future.
